Where do we put the teeth within the face?
This recorded session presents a complex case involving implants, veneers, and crowns. The patient's primary concerns are prominent gray discoloration and slight lip imbalance from previous surgeries. Dental Facial Analysis (DFA) revealed excessive tooth exposure, leading to a proposal to shorten the anterior teeth and potentially use Invisalign to intrude the canines, enhancing the smile curve. The discussion covers selecting suitable materials for the case, splinting implants to house pink porcelain for a natural papilla effect, and a similar case where adjusting tooth proportions improved aesthetics. Effective communication with the laboratory for optimal material selection and blending is emphasized.

Key questions include the feasibility of using Invisalign and the extent of restorations needed to restore function.

Minimally Invasive Veneer Case
This recorded session covers a case where the patient's chief complaint was not showing any teeth when smiling. Despite no functional issues, it was decided to deprogram the patient to address the esthetic concern. The treatment plan involved opening the vertical dimension and performing veneers and crown-lays on teeth #3-14, utilizing a proper orthotic position, specifically centric relation. The restorative approach was chosen to achieve the patient's esthetic goals.
