Digital Workflow: A Comprehensive Course for the Entire Dental Team

This lecture and hands-on course is designed to teach the entire dental team how to integrate a digital workflow into a dental office. Restorative dentists and surgeons are encouraged to attend this course with their assistants, hygienists, laboratory technicians, and treatment coordinators. At the conclusion of this two-day course, the entire dental team will have gained an understanding of the major components that make up a successful private practice.
Through a carefully designed curriculum with exciting hands-on workstations, all critical steps for a digital workflow will be explained in detail for each team member. Every participant will receive one-on-one hands-on instructions in a clinical setting utilizing the latest educational mannequins available. In addition, participants will experience intraoral scanning, smile design, face scanning, CBCT acquisition, presurgical and restorative planning, prosthetic designing, 3D printing, and milling of surgical guides, provisionals, and definitive prostheses.
To further the educational experience, this course will focus on five clinical scenarios:
1. Restorative dentistry on natural teeth
2. Single tooth implant restorations
3. Partially edentulous implant restorations
4. Fully edentulous implant restorations
5. Adjunct services (nightguards, whitening, and sleep apnea devices)
In addition, there will be multiple elective presentations available on information technology (IT), return on investment (ROI), 3D printing, smile design, financing options, office design, and surgical planning on both days. Each participant will have an opportunity to pre-register for two, half-hour lectures each day (four elective courses in total).

Faculty:
Dr. Ana Becil Giglio, board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery, has concentrated her career on providing high-quality care to her patients while prioritizing their well being. Dr. Giglio is a member of multiple dental organizations, allowing her to foster and share her clinical knowledge with colleagues. She is a member of and officer for the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration, and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Graz Giglio is a board-certified prosthodontist focusing on aesthetics and implant dentistry to enhance the quality of life for his patients. Dr. Giglio continually shares and develops his clinical perspective through his affiliation with many prestigious dental organizations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Dentists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and the New York Academy of Dentistry.
Dr. Stacey Kerzhner is a prosthodontist, focusing on restoring optimal esthetics and function for her patients. She is a compassionate and attentive dentist who believes increating a comfortable environment to help her patients create lasting smiles they can be confident in. She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Dental Association.
